Don't worry dear RR Park -- we're back. Thanks to some semi-cool mornings and a nice breeze here and there. And, Fawn's got a new favorite spot -- he calls it "the spider web" (it's really just a fun climbing contraption).

We (still) heart Railroad Park.
It's been a long, hot summer here in Birmingham. So much so that we have virtually abandoned one of our favorite toddler spots -- Railroad Park -- for lack of shade. The park is only a year old, so I know the shade will come as the trees grow. But right now, it's all sun all the time, which doesn't work too well for a two-year old in 100 degree weather.
Don't worry dear RR Park -- we're back. Thanks to some semi-cool mornings and a nice breeze here and there. And, Fawn's got a new favorite spot -- he calls it "the spider web" (it's really just a fun climbing contraption).
