Spending at least one morning a week at the library has done wonders for my reading (and Buck's too). My favorites were (in no particular order): Kisses from Katie, which is written by a young missionary in Africa and encourages the reader to say "yes" to God; One Thousand Gifts, which is a lesson in gratitude and seeking joy; The Greatest Gift, which is a Jesse's Tree Advent devotional; Mrs. Lincoln's Dressmaker, which chronicles the life of former slave turned dressmaker to Mrs. Lincoln; and The Chaperone, which is based in the early twentieth century New York and follows the travels of a young performer and her chaperone from middle America.
